“Sentimental Value”: Nora and Gustav

In this scene from the Norwegian drama “Sentimental Value,” Gustav (best supporting actor nominee Stellan Skarsgård) tries to enlist his estranged daughter, Nora (best actress Oscar nominee Renate Reinsve), an emotionally fragile actress, to star in his next project, a script based on the life of his mother. But the tensions between father and daughter are a formidable obstacle to Nora. "Sentimental Value,” a Neon release, is nominated for nine Academy Awards, including best picture and best international feature film.
