In Richard Linklater’s “Blue Moon,” best actor Oscar nominee Ethan Hawke plays famed Broadway lyricist Lorenz Hart, whose career was on a downturn after his partnership with composer Richard Rodgers broke apart. In this scene, Hart tries to ingratiate himself with his former partner (Andrew Scott) on the night Rodgers is celebrating his landmark musical “Oklahoma!” "Blue Moon,” a Sony Pictures Classics release, is nominated for two Academy Awards.
