In a 1988 interview on TODAY, Chuck Norris remembered how an outtake, which was meant to be a joke, ended up in the final cut of "Hero and the Terror." Norris initially didn't want it in the film, but after watching it, he remembered getting lightheaded during the birth of his first son, thus allowing it to make the final cut.
Norris' family announced his death on March 20, 2026. He was 86 years old.
